Jeremiah 14:7-9 O Yahuweh, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee. 8O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night? 9Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O Yahuweh, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.
Is there a difference between now and than? Are we not the Israel of God by faith?  Do we stand in the service of the temple of God? The word says we are the temple of God and He dwells within us.
Are you a mighty man or woman of God in power? The word says you are.
Galatians 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
II Corinthians 6:16-18 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said,  I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith Yahuweh Almighty.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
We have power and authority and a duty to God.
I Corinthians 5:1-5 1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
We are over comers, powerful but with mercy, love, and discretion.
Father let us be guided by Your Spirit and the Word.
