Exodus 31:18 And He gave unto Moses, when He had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
In the old covenant the law which brought death was the promise of the contract. In the new the gift of the Spirit of life was the promise.
Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Yahuweh; I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a GOD, and they shall be to Me a people:
Exodus 32:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
Acts 2:41 And they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
The Promise of the Holy Spirit
John 14 15-21 If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but you know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more; but you see Me: because I live, you shall live also. 20 At that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.

Father I delight in your promise through your Son and the presence of your Holy Spirit. Let me exercise daily the intercession of the Holy Spirit for myself and others, as I pray in the Spirit and pray with my understanding.
